COMPELLING REASONS WHY EVERY CLUB OWNER IN THE COUNTRY SHOULD CONTRIBUTE TO MIGSP

  1. Bottom line is that it will strengthen your bottom line ($$$ 4 U) in the long run by:
    - Attracting new gymnasts to your gym.
    - Keeping your gymnasts longer.
  2. It will enhance the quality and quantity of coaches available to club programs.
  3. It is THE RIGHT THING TO DO and it is good for the overall growth and vitality of the gymnastics community.
  4. As members of the United States Gymnastics Community, we as adults have a responsibility to ensure opportunities for future generations of young people.

My impression is that every gymnastics club in the country has benefited (and continues to benefit) directly and indirectly in many ways from the existence of men’s collegiate gymnastics. I know that club owners kiss away at least $25 per month in a variety of ways (actually some very creative ways). It would be easy for any club owner to figure out a reason and a way to redirect $25 per month to this very worthy endeavor. Any club owner who can’t is, in my opinion, in denial or refuses to accept a responsibility to the global gymnastics community in the United States. To me, there is no excuse for a club’s failure to participate in this effort.
