gymnastics opportunities for all the young gymnasts who so desire. |

20, 2002: The
first annual MIGSP National Invitational will be held at the University
of Minnesota Sports Pavilion Feb 28th through March 2nd, 2003.
This is a fund raising event intended to help preserve and protect
collegiate gymnastics opportunities for curent and future generations
of gymnasts. Profits from this event will be donated to the UM
Gymnastics program and to MIGSP on a 50-50 split. We are currently
seeking judges who are willing to volunteer their time to judge
sessions in this event. Contact us through the Feedback

MIGSP.org, the web site serving the Men's Intercollegiate Gymnastics
Support Program went live today. MIGSP is a private fundraising
effort with the intent to raise funds to help stabilize the financial
viability of the mens intercollegiate gymnastics programs

will be donating 5% of their sales profits each month to the Men's
Intercollegiate Gymnastics Support Program. americangymnast
is a distributor of gymnastics equipment, grips, wrist supports,
books/videos, and gift items. It is owned and operated by Jay Thornton,
two-time World Championship Member, and Stephen McCain, 2000 Olympian
and 4-time World Championship Team Member. Thornton and McCain are
also both former collegiate gymnasts (Iowa and UCLA, respectively)
and were quoted as saying "We feel a personal responsibility
to do what we can to ensure that men's collegiate gymnastics continues
